GIFT ORDERING TIPS FOR THIS HOLIDAY SEASON
Ordering parts and accessories during the holidays is something that we take very seriously at Moss Muscle. Whether it is just making sure that your order is a surprise for the recipient or knowing about backorders - we want to make sure that your holidays are trouble free and easy. To help us accomplish this task, we have compiled a short list of Holiday Gift Ordering Tips that you can use to ensure that your Moss Muscle ordering experience is a good one.
1. ACCOUNT INFORMATION

Whenever possible, make sure to use the recipient's existing account with us. This helps to reduce confusion for any returns, warranty issues and so on.
When creating an account for the sole purpose of ordering a gift, make sure to specify that you do not wish to have emails, sales announcements or catalogs sent to you (unless you do own a vehicle that we deal with and/or wish to have this type of mail sent to you).

2. BE AWARE OF BACKORDERS
Backorders can break your holiday cheer.
Make sure to not let this happen to your holiday cheer.
How?

Whenever you place an order, be aware that sometimes there may be backorders pending - as well as the occasional Unexpected Stock Outage. You can request to be contacted with an estimated date of arrival for new stock if your order unexpectedly includes any of these (for online ordering make sure to specify this request in the Comment Section provided in the Checkout Area). Sometimes the estimated arrival dates may be soon enough that you can still get them prior to the time you need them. Other times, the estimated date may exceed your time frame. Either way, it is always best to remember that any date that is given for arrival of a backorder is an estimated date. Generally speaking, you may wish to keep a contingency plan in place - and that leads us into our next Gift Order Tip: Gift Certificates.
3. GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift Certificates are a great way of making sure that you have something to fill the void of a backordered item. Make sure to have a quote for the cost of the item (don't forget to add in the shipping cost), as well as having all of your billing & shipping info and the recipient's account number (when possible). Gift Certificates can also make a great gift for those enthusiasts that you may not know their exact needs or desires other than 'something from Moss Muscle.'

4. SHIP-TO ADDRESSES

The Holiday Season is often a time of travel for many people. When determining where you want your Gift Order sent, you may also want to have an eye on your Holiday Trip Itinerary. Make sure to coordinate your shipping method with these plans by using guaranteed shipping (like UPS 2nd Day or Overnight), and delivery services that offer package tracking (UPS offers Package Tracking anywhere in the USA). Also, make sure to use an address that is guaranteed to have someone there to sign for your package. Alternatively, you can tell our Sales Staff (or indicate in the Comment Section for online ordering) to have the signature requirement waived - this method is not recommended unless security of your address is assured.

5. KEEPING YOUR ORDER A SURPRISE

Contact Information for your Gift Order is vitally important in helping us make sure that your gift remains a surprise for the Holidays. Orders processed online have a Comment Section when you Proceed To Checkout - make sure to specify that your order is a gift and that only YOUR information is to be used for contact purposes. If you are placing your order via Phone, FAX or email - make sure to inform your salesperson that you are ordering as a gift and wish to keep it as a surprise for the recipient.
Always keep a copy of your ordering history (including the salesperson name and extension when ordering via phone) to allow quick service when confirming any needed information (shipping dates, pricing issues, backorder questions, etc.).
6. UPS HOLIDAY PICK-UP AND DELIVERY SCHEDULES*
THANKSGIVING
Tuesday, November 25: Normal pickup and delivery service for air, international and ground packages. UPS 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will be delivered on Friday, November 28th.
Wednesday, November 26: Normal pickup and delivery service. UPS Next Day Air packages picked up today will be delivered on Friday, November 28th. UPS 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will be delivered on Monday, December 1 (except those porcessed and labeled for Saturday Delivery).
Thursday, November 27: No UPS pickup or delivery service.
Friday, November 28: Delivery of UPS air and international packages only.
No UPS Ground pickups or deliveries today.
Pickup service provided for air and international shipments if prearranged by Wednesday, November 26 (contact UPS or ask your sales representative for details).
Saturday, November 29: Delivery of UPS Worldwide Express, Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air packages processed and labeled for Saturday Delivery.
Pickup of air and international packages for regular Saturday pickup customers (ask your sales representative for details).
CHRISTMAS
Tuesday, December 23: Normal pickup and delivery service for air, international and ground packages. Next Day Air packages picked up today will arrive on Wednesday, December 24th. 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will arrive on Friday, December 26th.
Wednesday, December 24: Normal delivery service for air, international and ground packages.

Tuesday, December 30: Normal pickup and delivery service for air, international and ground packages. (Next Day Air packages picked up today will arrive on Wednesday, December 31. 2nd Day Air packages picked up today will be delivered on Friday, January 2.)
Wednesday, December 31: Delivery of air and international packages only.
No UPS Ground pickups or deliveries today.
